Jacek Szczurowski has been an employee of the Department of Anthropology of the University of Wrocław for many years, since 2010 he has been working at the Wrocław Uniwersity of Environmental and Life Sciences. His main research interests are studies of prehistoric populations on the basis of skeletal and combustible materials. He analyzes the anthropological determinants of funeral rites, including population of the Lusatian culture, analyzes of the frequency of epigenetic features and the intensity of morphological asymmetry of skeletal structures. Additional interests include the risk assessment of bone and muscle injuries and the diagnosis of ergonomic quality of technical objects.
