Lada Heřmanová graduated with a master’s degree in archeology at the Department of Archeology at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen. She is currently studying a doctoral program in archeology and her dissertation focuses on burial issues in the Pilsen region. As part of her studies, she participated in a foreign research expedition in Kyrgyzstan, and now she is preparing to research the defunct Roman city of Castrum Novum (Italy). In the Czech Republic, she participated in the research of the defunct village in Libkovice or the research of the courtyard at Sedláčkova Street 15 in Pilsen. Important projects in which she participated include: First International Day of Archeology 2015 at the Department of Archaeology, preparation of the 47th international scientific conference Archaeologia Historica 2015 prepared by the Department of Archeology at the University of West Bohemia in Cheb. Important SGS projects: NAKI II or the Environmental aspects of burials project. With her contribution “Development and Territorialization of Urban Villages and Farmyards of the Town Pilsen in Medieval and Post Medieval Age” she participated in an international student conference at the University of Bamberg.
